RUST INFORMATION STATION

Rust is my Among Us OC first of all, they had used to work at MIRA HQ as a photographer + researcher. They would often dive deep into a certain topic and research things about it, writing it all into a journal they carry with them at all times. Them being a photographer helps as well, as they constantly take pictures of things they find important, you can see Rust wearing this camera around their neck all the time!! They were assigned a mission at Polus with their crew!!

I will dive deeper on the Polus crewmates eventually, because I still have to make all of them,, gulps. But the most important one for now is Scarlett. If you've seen my previous arts, you might've seen Scarlett once or twice and you ALSO might've noticed Scarlett some has sort of relationship with Rust, which they do!! While at Polus, crew mates started disappearing, causing panic within the crew. Rust started investigating this, trying to figure out where the missing crewmates have been going.

Scarlett, being the imposter and the main cause of the disappearences, noticed this, and started using manipulation strategies to distract Rust from their findings so they don't find out the truth. (Also, theres another imposter, Pine. But they suck and Rust found out they were one of the imposters and they got rid of them LOOOOL.!!!!!!) So Scarlett actually ended up love-bombing Rust, and they fell hard for it. They actually ended up trusting Scarlett, and defending them when someone accused.

More and more kept disappearing and Rust didn't know what to do. Scarlett kept pulling them away and never gave them time to work. Eventually, Ink, one of the few survivors came up to Rust, trying to warn them about Scarlett, since they've been acting weird. and off. Everyone BUT Rust had thought it was them. Rust started thinking deeply about this, growing concerned about the possibilities until Scarlett walked in, saying they had needed to talk to Rust privately.

Rusts thought process was broken immediately, and they agreed to talk to Scarlett, telling Ink that they could talk again later if possible. After Scarlett and Rust were alone, Scarlett ended up slapping Rust, leaving them in shock. Scarlett seemed MAD. They started yelling at Rust and telling them they would never lie to them. Scarlett was eavesdropping yo,,, but this was the first time Scarlett ever yelled at Rust, and Rust was surprised. and scared!! They apologized over and over,

saying they wouldn't do it again. Rust distanced themselves from the rest of the crew, feeling that they couldn't trust anyone else but Scarlett. They were scared. They didn't want to die,, they didn't want to end up like the others. They still didn't know who the other imposter was, so they attempted to try and find anything to help their findings while Scarlett was busy. As they were exploring, they noticed the Specimen Room, which had always been locked up.

They didn't know why it was locked up, it seemed to have been like that the entirety of the mission. Rust decided to investigate, walking up towards the doors and placing their hand on the unlock button. They felt,, nervous. They didn't know why. They had the feeling something bad was about to happen. And it did!! Rust had opened the door to find Scarlett tossing Ink's lifeless body in a corner, their visor widening when they saw an entire garden full of bodies, body parts, plants, blood, ect.

[SCARLETTS ENTIRE CHARACTER IS BASED OFF OF FEAR GARDEN!!] And Scarlett was in the middle of it all, covered in blood. Rust GAGGED instantly,, the smell, the shock, and the truth all hitting them at once. They glared at Scarlett, they were terrified. Scarlett looked at Rust, their visor widening momentarily when they had found out Rust was there, before glaring. Rust took a step back, they didn't know. They never thought Scarlett would be like this, after all, Scarlett made em believe theywerent

Scarlett, holding their shovel, had taken a step closer to Rust. They wouldn't let them go back and tell the others what they had seen. Rust quickly made a run for it, but Scarlett had tackled them to the floor. Rust had tried fighting back, but Scarlett stabbed their shovel into their leg. Rust was in SO much pain, but they quickly acted on this, ignoring the pain and using their other leg to kick Scarlett back, causing Scarlett to drop the shovel. Rust quickly grabbed the shovel,

swinging it towards Scarlett and knocking them unconscious. After this, Rust started crying. They didn't want this to happen, they didn't want Scarlett to die, even if they deserved it. Rust, while limping, walked back inside Specimen. They grimaced after seeing all the dead bodies,, taking pictures of the scene. After doing this, they stored the photos in a folder, before turning around and quickly leaving before Scarlett woke up. They had told the remaining two crewmates about their discovery

The two were shocked, but still sort of wary of Rust since they were so close to Scarlett,, they were concerned about Rust's leg, but they couldn't do anything since Ink, the doctor, had just been killed. One of them immediately headed to fix communications as the other went to contact MIRA about the whole incident. Lets just pretend a ship came and brought them back to MIRA HQ!! Scarlett being left at Polus alone, Rust assumed they wouldn't ever see them again, and lets just hope that happens!!

Eventually, the remaining crew split ways, didn't talk to each other as much as they used to, before just not talking to each other at all. When Rust arrived back at MIRA HQ, they wanted answers. They constantly bothered the higher ups, trying to get them to say WHY or WHAT had happened, because what happened with Scarlett was NOT normal. And why would they hire someone like that?? Rust would constantly be caught in restricted areas because of this, or caught stealing important things.

Rust has also done disorderly behavior and actually ended up attacking one of the higher ups after they constantly felt ignored and pushed to the side. Rust was quickly stopped from actually hurting anyone, since Rust is unlikely to do any actual damage. But because of all these crimes, they had to do SOMETHING with Rust, right? They eventually sent Rust to a serve time for their crimes on a ship at sea. (My friend called the crew the Saltine Pirates smiles,,) They had met with the captain,
