I wanna ramble, (its in desc)

I have a friend who makes fursuit heads. I want them to custom make me one but I'm lowk scared because I feel like I ask for too much, and I don't wanna commission either because its pricey as heck! like they lowk just made me a pim pimling cardboard cutout, and now me asking for this? what if they think I'm using them?!

Maybe you could offer for a compromise or a trade! Like, you could pay... let's say half, of the cost, and then you could make something for them, either free or not. Depending on the size and quality of the item you make, you could technically make a trade :p (Somethin' I like to do as a Kandi kid. But it's always important to ask if it's alright with them first.) That way they receive something so it doesn't come across as you 'using' them :)
